Greek Language and People

Shot on location, this course offers an introduction to the
Greek alphabet and language. It provides students with the
opportunity to develop enough basic language skills to make
contact with people in a variety of transactions and social
situations. It also provides insights into the everyday life
and culture of modern Greece.

Japanese Language and People

Filmed on location in Japan, the ten 25 minute programmes
introduce students to the richness of Japanese language and
culture. Each video module focuses on themes such as family;
home, work, education, travel and leisure. Though the emphasis
is on oral skills; the written language is also covered to
provide a working knowledge of the language which the traveller
is likely to encounter. All of the language is reinforced
with graphics that make full use of the videos' training potential.
The series includes interviews with Japanese people and feature
Australian: Dutch, British and American residents who share
their experiences in learning to speak, read and write Japanese.
