screenwriter whose film credits include Welcome

Party People. Millions, his
debut novel, won the 2004 Carnegie Medal and was shortlisted for the Guardian
Children's Fiction Award. His second novel, Framed, was shortlisted for the
200S Whitbread Children's Fiction Award and has also been shortlisted for the
2005 Carnegie Medal.

About the author Andy Stanton lives in North London. He studied English at Oxford but they

all he likes cartoons, books and music (even jazz). One day he'd like to
live in New York or Berlin or one of those places because he's got fantasies
of bohemia. He is best known for his Mr Gum series of books.

in residence in Holloway prison and runs creative writing workshops in schools.
She lives in Hackney with her partner and teenage children.
